The battle for Myers' Landing is a Civil War Re-enactment hosted by the North Texas History Center in conjunction with the Collin County Historical Commission, and the Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp #1588 of Plano. The purpose of the event is three-fold: to offer a venue to all those who share a love of reenacting; to educate the public about the Civil War era; and to raise funds for the North Texas History Center.
