Welcome to the battle for myers' landing
The battle for Myers' Landing is a Civil War Re-enactment hosted by the North Texas History Center with help from the Collin County Historical Commission and the Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp #1588 of Plano. The purpose of the event is three-fold: to offer a venue to all those who share a love of reenacting; to educate the public about the Civil War era; and to raise funds for the North Texas History Center.
Due to recent rainfall, RV parking is unavailable at Myers Park. Please utilize area RV campgrounds.
Attention visitors: Shuttle parking will be available at Trade Days on US Hwy 380. If signs at the intersection of Hwy 380 and FM 1461 (Lake Forest) indicate Park parking lots are full please use Shuttle Parking.
Attention Re-enactors: Shuttles will be available for you so you may park in the shuttle parking area during event hours.
