  • Noon               Registration gates open to Re-enactors and Sutlers

FRIDAY

  • Living History School Program – CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC
  • For information about bringing your class to this day, contact Sarah
  • 7:00 AM                Registration gates open to Re-enactors and Sutlers
  • 8:30 AM                Volunteer, Re-enactor, and Sutler meeting
  • 9:00 AM               First buses arrive
  • 9:20 AM               First classes start*
  • Classes run 10 – 15 minutes and start every hour at :00, :20, and :40 minutes past the hour.
  • Noon                     Band Concert
  • 12:30 PM              Battle
  • 1:00 PM                 Battle ends
  • 1:20 PM                 Classes resume
  • 2:40 PM                 Last class ends
  • 3:00 PM                 Vendors may begin to arrive and set-up

Classes include*:

  • ·        Civilian Life
  • ·        Blacksmithing
  • ·        Unifroms
  • >
  • ·        Sewing and dress making
  • ·        Cavalry
  • ·        Cooking over a campfire with period utensils
  • ·        Open army camps, allowing children to see how the soldier lives and sleeps, along with what equipment they had

  • 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM       Dance (free to Re-enactors and Sutlers, separate ticket admission to public)

If you wish to assist with the November 6 Education Day please email Sarah. We are looking for presenters on a variety of topics from firearms to medicine to etiquette and dressmaking. Ten to fifteen minute presentations preferred.
